Job Description:

The Farm Sitter, LLC is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team. As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing social media strategies to enhance our online presence and engage our target audience.

This job is a part-time internship, working about 10 hours per week. This role is a hybrid role, and requires a minimum of once a week being in the office. More times in the office than this is encouraged, but not required. The Farm Sitter’s office is in the Peoria NEXT Innovation Center at 801 W. Main Street, Peoria, IL 61606.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms as we look to expand.
• Assist in developing and implementing social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to our digital platforms.
• Monitor and analyze social media analytics to track the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
• Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and participating in relevant conversations.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media marketing.

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a degree program in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of major social media platforms and their best practices.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of design tools such as Canva is a plus, but not required.
• Farm or Equestrian Experience preferred but not required, Must Love Animals!
